Our goal with this two-bedroom, three-bath unit at Park Grove Residence was to create a casual yet upscale ambience with coastal inspiration, providing the New York City couple with a comfortable environment to escape the city and recharge.
Using natural textiles and neutral hues throughout, we created a sense of connectedness with nature and a sense of retreat. Including such elements as natural shell accents, beached wood, and shagreen materials. We chose to use Belgian linens and organic rich layers to bring the outside in for a soothing calming feeling. Strategically, we wove together classic and contemporary elements, including an Eero Saarinen Tulip Table and Minotti Sectional. The dramatic light fixture by Linsday Adelman is major focal point in the main living area. Additionally, we created a custom-built in office included with a Murphey Bed for their young grandchildren to camp out.
