Brianna Bodnar Brown, president of Fine Line Furniture + Accessories, combines her background in residential real estate, business, and notably – psychology – to fulfill the company’s mission of providing design solutions that reflect each client’s unique personal essence.
Consistent with her family’s tireless work ethic, Brianna, who received degrees in psychology and business from the University of Florida, began working at 17 years of age. Her background includes working at ADP’s corporate offices for six years before joining Fine Line in 2004 and becoming president in 2009. A licensed real estate agent, she has handled the purchase and sale of many multi-million-dollar homes throughout her career, enabling her to assist clients with conceptualization and creation of their dream homes from start to finish.
Her greatest passion is truly in the creative realm, where she has enjoyed custom-designing furniture and artwork for the company showroom and client projects. Her goal, at all times, is not to indulge her personal visions, but rather to tell her client’s stories: “The best homes tell the intricate stories of the people who live there,” she says.
The Miami native has dual US and Canadian citizenship and spends significant time in Canada, working on client projects or visiting the family’s lakefront cottage. Brianna shares the family’s adventurous pursuit of world travel and love of iconic architecture, with favorites including Frank Lloyd Wright, Frank Ghery, Zaha Hadid, Anthony Cotsifas, and Shigeru Ban.
“I am grateful to my parents for teaching me to live and breathe the field they loved so much,” Brianna says. “For this reason, I am a purist who believes that design should defy labeling, and I am grateful for being a part of something that is cultural, social and that I am truly passionate about. It is this passion and working as part of a great family that has enabled me to help position Fine Line as a staple in our community where customers and designers return every year, as they too love how they are treated as family.”
When she is not busy working, designing and creating, Brianna dedicates time to a variety of impactful causes and organizations, the Guardian ad Litem program, Mount Sinai’s Founders Club, Pet Net, The Greater Miami Humane Society, and the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.
